So I was like.. 15 or so but come on.
That hair was natural, bedhead even.
So long and healthy and pretty and wavy.

Don’t mind the huge monroe, too much eyeliner, puka shell necklace,
teeny VS shirt, shoelace that Donovan gave me or scene claw-esque arm.

Day 9 - A photo I have taken.

I took this photo in 2008 so it’s a little old but very special nonetheless.
My friend Dusti Garrison was in Portland, Oregon just waiting at a bus stop.
I was texting her then she called, freaking out.. because Sara Quin was there!
I made her give the phone to Sara to say hi to me (even though I had met
both Tegan and Sara several times) because really, I was still so excited.

Sara said ‘Hi friend, this is the real Sara. Okay, byeee!’

Nothing big, but it was adorable and I was ecstatic. I was still veeery
much obsessed back then. I know it’s like ‘oh, yeah right.. sure’ but no,
it really happened and obviously it made my day. I was just babysitting,
just sitting outside while she played. (hence my leg and the little girl’s legs)

Isn’t it crazy how you can wake up one day and have NO idea
that something so cool is going to happen? Life is so unpredictable.
